Traditional treatment typically consists of some combination of 12 Step Self Help groups (such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous), in- or out-patient drug and alcohol treatment, and individual or group psychotherapy. Unfortunately, relapse into active addiction is not uncommon during the critical first year after the completion of standard treatment programs. One of EBR’s primary benefits is transitioning our participants from active treatment to adopting a lifestyle conducive to recovery through continued monitoring, structure and accountability. For the addicted person, as well as involved family members and employers, outcomes can be improved and EVERYONE benefits. If treatment is more successful, the impact upon individual lives, families, business and society at large would be enormous.
